LONGVIEW, Texas ( KETK ) — CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Centers is getting a head start in preparing for Christmas as they announce their Festival of Trees silent auction to benefit foundation projects.

First Rose City Christmas Parade since 2022 calls for entries

Those wishing to donate are asked to fill out a form and return it to the foundation by Oct. 25 and drop off their Christmas trees on Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

People are asked to bring artificial, three to four foot pre-lit decorated Christmas trees, name the tree and deliver it to the CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Hospital in Marshall.

    Requirements for the Christmas trees:

    “Tree decorations:
    • Trees are to be festively decorated.
    • Please ensure decorations are securely fastened to the tree for transportation.
    • Do not use live decorations within the artificial tree

Tree skirt: Include a skirt for the Christmas tree. This can be an actual tree skirt or get creative with tulle or fabric.

Tree Name: Choose a fun, whimsical or catchy name for your tree.”
