Texas Rose Festival kicks off with prayer service, ribbon cutting ceremony

TYLER, Texas (KETK) — The Texas Rose Festival kicked off on Thursday at the Tyler Rose Garden beginning the four-day festival.

Since 1933, the festival has presented the spirit of Tyler and people are already in town for this special weekend. The four-day event started with a prayer service and a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring the Rose Queen and Rose Princess.
