Man runs for help after being shot on Reynolds Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A Rochester man is recovering after he was shot on Reynolds Street Monday night. Police say the 19-year-old victim was walking on Reynolds Street at 9:30 p.m. when he was shot at multiple times, getting hit in his upper body. Rochester police seek driver from hit-and-run crash that left boy, 3, critically injured
Rochester, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public's help finding the driver connected to a hit-and-run crash earlier this month. The Rochester Police Department shared footage of a vehicle believed to have fled the scene of a crash July 10 on Mount Read Boulevard near Jay Street, where a 3-year-old boy was struck. The boy was hospitalized in critical but stable condition, according to police.
Teen sentenced in 2022 deadly shooting of another teen during fight on Weld Street
Rochester, N.Y. — A teenager charged in the 2022 shooting death of another teen in the city was sentenced Friday. Raymar Alexander, now 18, is set to serve 17 years in prison. He pleaded guilty in May to first-degree manslaughter after fatally shooting Chance Mosley, 17, during a fight at a home on Weld Street in Rochester Nov. 1, 2022, according to the Monroe County District Attorney's Office.

Hochul to Appear in Dunkirk for Announcement Regarding Wells Enterprises
Governor Kathy Hochul will be making a stop in Dunkirk on Tuesday for an "economic development announcement." While her office has not revealed any further information regarding the announcement, Chautauqua County Executive P.J. Wendel, who was a guest on WDOE's "Viewpoint" program on Monday, confirmed that her event will be in regard to Wells Enterprises. Hochul's announcement is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM at the Armory.
