7-22-24 two people arrested following high speed chase in fdl
Two people from Green Bay are in custody following a high speed chase in Fond du Lac County in a stolen vehicle. The chase started in Winnebago County and continued into Fond du Lac on Lakeshore Drive where the vehicle nearly struck another vehicle head on. The chase ended when the vehicle struck a tree on Morningside Drive. The male driver and female passenger exited the vehicle and were arrested. Nobody was injured.
Green Bay Rockers’ early flurry too much for Dock Spiders
Ashwaubenon, Wis. – The Green Bay Rockers (10-8) outlasted the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (6-14) at Capital Credit Union Park this afternoon 9-5. Green Bay has now won six straight games and nine of its last ten. The Rockers have the next three days off for the All-Star break, before a four-game stretch against the Wausau Woodchucks next week.
CityDeck hosts magical family show
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - CityDeck in downtown Green Bay is putting on a magical show for families. “Mysteries of Magic” starts at 5:30 p.m. Along with the show, there are family games courtesy of HSHS and Prevea, the CityDeck splash pad will be open, and the Cool Bus will have ice cream and snacks for sale.
Manitowoc listening session with council member Eric Sitkiewitz tops this week's government meetings
MANITOWOC – Mayor Justin Nickels and council member Eric Sitkiewitz, Common Council representative for District 6, are hosting a listening session at City Hall July 25. Nickels said in a Facebook post there will be listening sessions with all 10 council members scheduled for the year.
