Los Angeles Police Department West Los Angeles officers responded to a burglary panic alarm around 11:30 p.m. at a residence located in the 12800 block San Vicente Boulevard.

The female resident along with two to three children, hid in a room and called 911 to report three masked males in the residence.

Officers arrived on scene, set up a perimeter and searched the house.

The suspects had fled the area prior to officers arriving at the residence. The direction in which the suspects fled is unknown, as well as whether they fled on foot or by vehicle, according to the LAPD.

A spokesperson for the LAPD said the suspects entered by breaking a glass panel at the back of the house.

A small suitcase and several pairs of sunglasses were seen strewn at the bottom of the driveway.

There are no further details at this time.
