Reef Relief to host fund-raiser

The non-profit ocean conservation group Reef Relief will host its ninth annual Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash fund-raiser at 5 p.m. on July 31 at the Green Parrot Bar.

The fundraiser will be from 5 to 10 p.m. The Happy Dog will be performing live music, and there will be raffle prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and thousands of dollars in silent auction items. All proceeds go toward expanding Reef Relief’s education and advocacy programs such as the annual Reef Explorer Coral Camp, when campers are exposed to marine conservation messaging and get multiple opportunities to meet with experts in the field such as Fort Jefferson.
