Fortunately, law enforcement quickly located the stolen vehicle, leading to a dramatic pursuit that ended with a crash on Main Street.</p><p>The driver, identified as 19-year-old Javion Morehead, was apprehended after a short foot chase, where police recovered a loaded firearm equipped with an automatic switch. Morehead now faces multiple charges, including aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed robbery.</p><h2>Community Urged to Stay Vigilant</h2><p>These incidents highlight a growing concern about youth violence and crime in Rockford.
