OBN seizes thousands of marijuana plants at McAlester grow

McALESTER, Okla. ( KFOR ) – The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics served a search warrant in McAlester on August 13 as part of an ongoing illegal marijuana investigation.

According to OBN, the bureau’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams (MET) worked alongside the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office during the operation.

Officials say agents seized 4,788 marijuana plants and 691 pounds of processed marijuana. Arrests are pending as the investigation continues.
