MOORE, Okla. ( KFOR ) — A mother woke up to bullets flying at her apartment complex in Moore and says the problems are ongoing, managing to catch the moment on camera when the shots were fired.

Priscilla Douglas lives in the Nottingham Square Apartments in Moore. She’s lived at the complex for more than three years.

“It was not bad at first. I don’t know what happened, but now it’s just nobody does anything,” says Douglas.

Wednesday night, Douglas says she woke up to bullets being fired outside of her window.

“We just took off inside and I shut the door and I told everybody in my house to hit the floor,” said Douglas.

Gunfire is not Douglas’ only concern.

Douglas says hours before the shooting, the teenagers were swinging knives around at people.

Moore Police acknowledged there is a problem at Nottingham Square Apartments.

Moore Police Department sent News 4 a statement regarding the apartment complex shooting:

“Officers have reached out to Priscilla on the case and are hoping to get a positive identification on a potential suspect.”

    Douglas says enough is enough.

“I’m being forced to have to find a new arrangement for my living. So much so that I might take my kids to go to the shelter, it’s just ridiculous and scary,” she adds.

Moore Police want to thank Douglas for sharing the video and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

News 4 spoke on the phone with the complex management and they said they are aware of Wednesday night’s shooting but don’t know who fired the gun shots.
