Moore man sentenced to 10 years in prison for armed carjacking

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – A Moore man has been sentenced to a decade in federal prison in connection to a carjacking.

According to the United States Department of Justice, 39-year-old Brian Two-Babies was sentenced to 121 months for brandishing a firearm during a violent crime.

Officials say on December 15, 2023, Two-Babies approached a car while armed with a pistol in Oklahoma City. He tried to open the door, threatened the driver multiple times and then shot the pistol into the air. The victim gave their phone, keys and wallet to Two-Babies before he pointed the firearm at the victim and threatened their life. Two-Babies then drove away in the victim’s car and was later arrested by Oklahoma City Police the next morning.

The U.S. Dept. of Justice says on April 16, 2024, Two-Babies was charged by Superseding Information with having a firearm during a crime of violence and carjacking. On April 22, Two-Babies pleaded guilty to the Superseding Information, and admitted to stealing the car while having a firearm, with the intent to cause “serious bodily harm”.

Two-Babies was sentenced on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, by U.S. District Judge Bernard Jones to 121 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release. In addition to the sentencing announcement, the court noted the nature of the offense.
