A second arrest in one week after a 2023 murder in Seminole

SEMINOLE, Okla. ( KFOR ) – A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the 2023 murder investigation of Jacob Washington from Seminole.

The Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police announced that John Nolte III was issued an arrest warrant and turned himself in Saturday.

On Aug. 29th his father John Nolte II was arrested in connection to the death of Washington. Nolte II was arrested by Texas Rangers and later booked into Seminole County Jail on a warrant for charges related to the murder.

On Saturday officials said Nolte III was arrested for the offenses of Conspiracy, Accessory to Felony, and Arson and Destroying Evidence.

The Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police Department says Washington was reported missing after being last seen on Friday, May 12, 2023.
