    Water main break floods streets in NW Oklahoma City

    UPDATE @ 2:52 P.M. – Line Maintenance crews are working to repair a 36″ water main near NW 6th and Penn. Specialty crews have been called in to assist. The ETA for repair is around 11:00 p.m. tonight, Monday, September 9. Penn Ave remains closed for now.

    OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – A water main break has left parts of northwest Oklahoma City flooded Monday morning.

    Officials say the break happened near NW 4th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. sometime before 7 a.m.

    LOCAL NEWS: Metro couple says their dog was mauled, killed by pit bull

    The flooding is affecting businesses nearby and some employees have even been sent home. KFOR’s Natalie Clydesdale says the water is knee deep in some areas.

    All lanes of Pennsylvania Ave. between Main St. and NW 8th St. are closed.

    Drivers may want to find a different route.
