OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A Oklahoma luxury apartment complex’s remaining parking structure is finally being demolished. On Tuesday, the final stages of demolition of the Canton at Classen Curve garage began and is set to bring relief to local residents who considered the structure an eyesore after burning like a inferno for days in February 2022.

The five-story apartment complex, located at NW 63rd and Western and called The Canton at Classen Curve, went up in flames on February 8, 2022 in what fire officials called a five-alarm fire. The 326-room luxury apartment complex was scheduled to open sometime in the spring with units starting at 600 square feet, ranging from $1,100 to more than $4,000 a month.
