    Police respond to possible explosive device found at NW OKC home

    Police have given the all-clear after the bomb squad determined the object was not an explosive.

    According to a bomb squad supervisor, the device was a novelty alarm clock made to look like sticks of dynamite with wires.

    OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City Police have closed off a section of St. Clair Avenue near NW 10th and Portland on Tuesday afternoon after an area resident says they found a possible explosive device at her home.

    According to police, a woman who recently bought a home in the neighborhood was cleaning things out when she found an object that resembled a bomb before calling 911.

    The police bomb squad reportedly arrived at the scene just before 4:15 p.m. to assess the situation.
