VIDEO: Police trying to identify woman after fire set in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – Police say they’re trying to identify a woman in connection to an arson investigation.
A video released by the Oklahoma City Police Department shows an incident that happened on August 31 near the 3500 block of SW 29th Place.
In the video, a woman can be seen talking to the victim whose door was cracked open. She then pours what appears to be gasoline, lights it on fire and seconds later flames erupted and she ran.
The incident happened in broad daylight, around 1:30 p.m., construction workers on-site witnessed the chaos.
“We had like nine guys over here working doing the remodeling work over here, so that scared me and all my employees too,” said Marlon Cifuentes, witness.
Cifuentes says he was sitting enjoying his lunch and all of a sudden had to jump into action.
“When I see the fire getting bigger, I’m scared and I don’t want to be here, like, running away, getting water and things like that to try to kill the fire,” said Cifuentes.
They stopped the fire quickly, no real damage was done to the building.
“The good thing is we are here that’s what I told my boss, like, thank God we are here and we stopped the fire,” said Cifuentes.
In the footage, you can also see a man sitting on the ground, watching it all unfold.
According to the police report, a man was spotted walking up to the apartment and dropping off a gas can, moments before the suspect set fire.
The property manager believes it was the same person and claims the victim knows the suspect and the other male.
Police knocked on the victims door, but there was no answer and still cannot reach them.
News 4 also reached out to the The City of Oklahoma City Fire Investigation Unit.
“Since the case is actively under investigation, we are not able to comment until the investigation is complete.’
