Police identify suspect in deadly Midwest City shooting

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – Authorities with the Midwest City Police Department say three people have now been identified after a deadly shooting in Tom Poore Park Sunday, September 8, 2024.

According to police, around 7:33 p.m. officers responded to a shooting at Tom Poore Park where one person was found dead. Police say the victim, Deh’maurieon Denmark, had been shot and later died at a local hospital.

On September 11, 2024, Detectives confirmed arrest warrants were obtained for Murder in the
First Degree on 18-year-old Zantayvean Dayvon Smith, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old.

The investigation is still ongoing and if anyone has any information about this incident, they are
