“We couldn’t be prouder of our new homeowner, Diamond W., a dedicated state employee and single mother, who bought and will move into her new home with her daughter, Demi, in the days ahead. Diamond is our first-ever Cornerstone Creek homeowner, and we will celebrate her with our home-build sponsor, Maxwell Supply Company, and community members.”

According to COHFH , Cornerstone Creek’s first homeowner, Diamond W. fulfilled all the requirements of Habitat’s New Home Construction program, and through Habitat she was able to buy her house for cost and without a down payment.

Special guests attending the dedication offering warm wishes included, Ward 1 Oklahoma City Councilman Bradley Carter, Oklahoma House Rep. Denise Crosswhite Hader and Maxwell Supply Company Chairman Jerry Thomason, as well as his son, Maxwell Supply Company President Charlie Thomason. Maxwell Supply Company sponsored the home build for Diamond W.’s home making it the seventh home build the company has sponsored in the past 17 years.

Habitat says, various groups of community members also presented Diamond W. with house-warming gifts, including the Edmond Board of Realtors, Malarkey Roofing Products, Supermercados Morelos and The Order of the Daughters of the King.
