POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Okla. ( KFOR ) – Authorities say they’re investigating a robbery and pursuit involving multiple suspects.

According to officials, Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported marijuana grow robbery near Hazel Dell Rd. around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. Upon arrival, at least four people left the scene in two vehicles, leading to a pursuit.

“We thought originally there was one, maybe two vehicles, there might be possibly a third one, and there’s upwards to half a dozen to maybe eight or nine people that were involved,” said Lieutenant Jason Seikel with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office.

When the deputy arrived on the scene the two SUV’s sped away from the grow.

The deputy took off after the vehicles and both SUV’s turned off their lights.

The Deputy lost sight of one, but was still able to track a silver Cadillac until it crashed near a home at Southeast 59th and Choctaw Road.

The suspects were nowhere to be seen, but they did leave several vacuum sealed bags of marijuana inside the crashed Cadillac.

The only clue to the suspects is surveillance video.

“Some of the video that we’ve been able to see, watch on his surveillance footage is probably the best we’ve seen,” sad Seikel.

Police said the owner of the marijuana grow actually lives on the property and barricaded themselves in a room when they saw the suspects on their security video.

They believe more than 50 pounds if marijuana was stolen.
