Jury watches forensic interviews in Cody Barlow day 3 trial

SEMINOLE, Okla. ( KFOR ) — It’s another day in court for Cody Barlow. Today, the jury heard from a third victim and watched forensic interviews from the investigation.

Barlow sat in court as the third victim shared his testimony on the stand.

The victim relived how he claims Barlow sexually touched him in Barlow’s office two years ago.

He told the jury and the state, “I’ve been trying to forget about this for a while.”

Up next, a forensic interviewer detailed her interaction with the victim in a recorded session two years ago.

The jury listened to the 45 minute interview, as the victim can be heard saying Barlow was rubbing the victim’s shoulders before moving his hands lower.

In the video, the victim claims he told Barlow to stop and Barlow told the victim to “get out of my office.”

In the forensic interview, the victim can he heard saying “I want me to be the last person he does it to.”

Cross examination then questioned the forensic interviewer and asked if she had any bias in the interview, to get the victim to say something specific.

She responded and said, “I’m neutral.”

The jury watched another forensic interview with a different victim from January 2023.

On the video, the victim said Barlow grabbed his inner thigh and the victim slapped his hand to stop him.

To close out day three, the jury watched two more forensic interviews with the third victim.

The defense called one witness to the stand Wednesday afternoon. He talked about how he knows Barlow and has seen him interact with kids for years.

He also explained that he has never seen anything alarming.

The trial picks up again on Friday morning.
