YUKON, Okla. ( KFOR ) – The Oklahoma Czech Festival is returning to Yukon on Saturday, October 5.

The festival celebrates Yukon’s Czech heritage with traditional food, dancing and activities.

“There is so much going on this Saturday,” said Aspen Hein, 2023-2024 Oklahoma Czech-Slovak Queen. “It kicks off with a big parade at 10 a.m. and after that, there will be dancing all day by the Oklahoma Czech Slovak Dancers,”.

The festival attracts thousands to Main Street with traditional koláče and klobasy sausages prepared by Oklahoma Czechs, Inc. There will also be vendors, a craft fair and performances by Polka bands and traditional Czech and Slovak folk dancers.
