    Study: OU among best college football teams to go pro

    NORMAN, Okla. ( KFOR ) – The University of Oklahoma ranks among the best college football teams for players to join the NFL, according to a recent study.

    According to the study by KingCasinoBonus.com , data was analyzed from Sportico regarding college football team revenue for the 2022-2023 season, ESPN data on the number of NFL players from each college and the amount of Google searches for each university as well as for the terms “college team”, “sports” and “football team”.

    The data was then put into an index out of 10 to determine which college football teams have the best chance of becoming professional.

    According to the data, OU ranks #6 with 34 players currently in the NFL, high football revenue and average monthly search volume.

    Top 10 best college football teams to become professionals:

    1. University of Alabama
    2. University of Michigan
    3. University of Georgia
    4. Ohio State University
    5. University of Texas at Austin
    6. University of Oklahoma
    7. Pennsylvania State University
    8. Louisiana State University
    9. University of Tennessee, Knoxville
    10. Florida State University

    Reaching the top of the list is the University of Alabama, mainly due to the amount of current NFL players attended the university. Players including Derrick Henry, Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones.
