OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) — Police responded to a crash that turned into a fatal officer-involved shooting Thursday night in NW OKC.

Officials say the accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. near NW 122nd Street and N MacArthur Boulevard.

Authorities say the suspect began firing gun shots after being involved in a collision. When officers arrived, the subject posed a threat to the officers before firing their firearms at the suspect.

Officials say seven officers were involved in the shooting and all will be placed on administrative leave pending investigation.

The suspect was shot and transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead.

OKCPD says no officers were injured during the shooting.

    This is a developing story.
