Homeland Scholar Athlete of the Week — Dontre Garfield

SEMINOLE, Okla. ( KFOR ) —This school year KFOR is once again recognizing outstanding scholar-athletes. We are teaming up with Homeland to honor Dontre Garfield of Seminole High School.

Dontre is the quarterback for the Chieftains. He set a school record for touchdowns in a game with seven, in their win over Checotah.

Dontre volunteers to help with little league football.

Dontre’s head coach nominated him for the award and says he is one of the finest young men he’s coached in his 53 years.
