The closure is expected to be between Ridge Creek Road – just north of the Coffee Creek-Douglas four-way stop – and the entrance to the Highgarden subdivision. Drivers can expect message boards at the intersections of Coffee Creek-Douglas and Sorghum Mill-Douglas.

There will be no through traffic access, says City leaders. Motorists are encouraged to adjust their travel plans in advance to arrive to your final destination without any disruption.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Oct. 30 weather permitting.
