    Bella Fire burns vegetation west of Inyokern, evacuation order issued: Cal Fire

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A vegetation fire burning in northeast Kern County has threatened structures just north of Highway 178 and west of Highway 14, according to the Genasys protect website.

    On Aug. 4, a vegetation fire began near Pine Hollow Avenue in northeast Kern County forcing an evacuation order for Genasys protect zone KRN-801-B . The Bella Fire started at about 5:24 p.m. Sunday and has burned 309 acres, at 0% containment.

    If you are in the area of Owens Peak Wilderness and you live north of Highway 178, south of Indian Wells Canyon Road, east of Isabella Walker Road and west of W Inyokern Road, you are urged to leave immediately.
