Coroner IDs men killed in head-on crash on Buena Vista Blvd

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identifies two men killed in a head-on crash on Buena Vista Boulevard in July.

The coroner’s office identified both of the drivers as, Martin Martinez Gallegos, 52, and Gabriel Martinez Torres, 45, both of Bakersfield.

Both of the men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash was reported in the area of Buena Vista Boulevard and Adobe Road just before 2 a.m. on July 20.

The passenger in Gallegos’ vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol
