GoFundMe created for family after fire destroys Easter St home

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A GoFundMe has been created to help a family whose home was destroyed in a fire Saturday night.

Kern County firefighters were dispatched to the 400 block of Easter Street around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Fire crews worked to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby structures. A family member at the scene told 17 News the fire started at the back of the residence.

No injuries were reported but the home was destroyed.
