Food giveaway to be held at Rock Church this weekend

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Community Outreach Event is set to host a food giveaway at the Rock Church this weekend.

Giveaway organizers say the giveaway is a first come, first serve event on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Rock Church located at 1400 Norris Rd. The event starts at 10 a.m. and is scheduled to end at noon.

Organizers will be giving away free food and other resources to attendees.
