Boys & Girls Club of Kern County offers a meal program across the county

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County has launched the current after-school meal program available five days a week after school from the beginning of 2024-2025, Monday through Friday, at various locations across the county.

The program provides supper snack service to youth, ensuring they can access nutritious meals in a safe environment.

The meal service location includes:

Armstrong Youth Center 801 Niles Street, Bakersfield, CA 93305 Supper 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Snack 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM	Arvin Children’s Center 800 Walnut Drive, Arvin, CA 93203 Supper 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM	David Head Center 10300 San Diego Street, Lamont, CA 93241 Supper 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Stockdale Club 5207 Young Street, Suite 200, Bakersfield, CA 93311 Supper 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Snack 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM	Riverview Southern Baptist Church 410 Beardsley Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93308 Supper 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM	Lamont Club 8301 Segrue Road, Lamont, CA 93241 Supper 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM Snack 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM
	Suburu Club 7315 Harris Road, Bakersfield, CA 93313 Supper 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM Snack 5:30 – 6:00 PM
