    Help sought to locate woman last seen in Bakersfield in June

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A flyer circulating social media is asking for help to locate a woman who was last seen in Bakersfield earlier this summer.

    The Bakersfield Police Department said Monday Ashley Nickell, 41, was reported missing to police on Aug. 22. A spokesperson said Nickell was last seen sometime on June 17 in the 5200 block of Olive Drive. Nickell was dropped off in the area and has not been heard from since.

    Nickell is is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair.

    Bakersfield police said there are no other factors in Nickell’s disappearance to have investigators believe that foul play or other suspicious circumstances are involved.
