    KCSO to host Civilian Hiring Event for multiple positions

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is set to host a Civilian Hiring Event for multiple positions on Thursday.

    The hiring event is set for Aug. 29 at the County Administrative building, located at 1115 Truxtun Ave., from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

    The office is hiring for the following positions:

    • Autopsy Assistant
    • Deputy Coroner
    • Dispatch Assistant
    • Dispatcher
    • Clerical Role
      • Records Specialist
      • Sheriff’s Support Tech
      • Sheriff’s support specialist
