Celebrate Water Day at the Kern County Fair

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Water Day at the Kern County Fair is set for Sept. 27., and organizers have plenty of activities planned.

Jenny Holtermann, Executive Director of the Water Association of Kern County, joined 17 News to talk about the event.

Holtermann said on Sept. 27 starting at 3 p.m. at the Kern County Fair different water purveyors will be at the main entrance with giveaways, water and water businesses.

Water goes hand in hand with agriculture and it is important to educate the community on both.
