    Kern County Sheriff’s Office identifies man wanted in connection to Oildale killing

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man wanted in connection to a killing in the Oildale area on Olympic Drive .

    KCSO officials say Luis Villachana, 44, is wanted in connection to a killing on Aug. 29 that left one woman dead.

    Officials said the victim was shot at a residence and taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

    One other person was left with minor injuries after the shooting.

    The sheriff’s office provided a photo of Villachana, but did not provide a description for him.
