Kern County College Night returns Sept. 9

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Higher education institutions around Kern County are coming together on Monday, to help students decide their next move.

College Night returns to Mechanics Bank Convention Center on Sept. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Representatives from institutions such as Bakersfield College, CSUB and Taft College will be available to help with any questions and assist students.

Students also have a chance to learn how to obtain financial aid, write personal statements and manage the student athlete lifestyle.

Organizers say the event is free to attend and advise students to complete the StriveScan registration to connect with colleges after the event.
