    KCSO searching for man last seen in Lamont

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in finding a man who was last seen in Lamont in August.

    Officials with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office say Jose Mejia, was last seen in Lamont on Aug. 18. It is unknown what he was wearing.

    Mejia is described as between 40 and 50 years old and is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds, according to KCSO. He has black hair and brown eyes.
