BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man who pleaded no contest to vandalizing the McFarland Police Department — spray-painting the building’s front doors and cutting down flags — was sentenced Monday to four years in prison.

The sentence was handed down following Steven Michael Henry’s acceptance of a plea deal in July, according to court records.

Surveillance video captured Henry, 41, vandalizing the department in May, according to a court filing. He has a lengthy criminal history with convictions for burglary, drug possession, trespassing and resisting a peace officer.
