The 2024 Kern County Fair is just one week away

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Golden Empire is now one week away from the start of the Great Kern County Fair, which runs from Sept. 18 through Sept. 29.

Big name performers are set to take the stage each night at the Budweiser Pavilion and all concerts are free with fair admission.

Monster truck shows are scheduled for Sept. 19 and 20, with rodeos happening at the Grandstands on Sept. 27 through 29.

You can also expect to see your favorite fair attractions such as the All Star Stunt Dog Challenge, Petting Farm, Great American Duck Races, The Wilder Show and more.

Tickets for adults are $15 and $10 for seniors ages 62 and up. Kids ages 6 to 12 get in for $6, while kids ages 5 and under get in free.

All military members also get in free with your military ID.

Parking is available for $10 and unlimited carnival wristbands are $37 on weekdays and $42 Friday through Sunday.
