    Coroner ID’s woman who died an accidental heat-related death

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a 36-year-old woman who died an accidental heat-related death in June.

    Coroner officials say Marche Antoinette Shine, 36, was found unresponsive inside a vehicle in the 1400 block of McDonald Way on June 6.

    Shine was taken to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

    Coroner officials say the cause of Shine’s death was arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and acute hyperthermia and the manner was an accident.

    The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
