BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man from Oregon who died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 early Thursday morning .

Coroner officials say Andrey Moroz, 55, of Keizer, Oregon was the driver of a semi-truck that rollover on the I-5 near Stockdale Highway around 2:59 a.m. on Thursday.

California Highway Patrol officers say Moroz made an unsafe turning movement and the vehicle left the roadway.

The semi-truck then overturned on its right-hand side and blocked the number one lane.

Moroz was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of his death.

The highway patrol is investigating the crash. Officials say drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
