    ‘Party in the Garden’ to celebrate Central Park’s revitalization in Bakersfield

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Hub of Bakersfield will host the “Party in the Garden” at Sister Cities Garden Park on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024.

    The celebration will begin from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., celebrating the adoption and future transformation of Central Park at Mill Creek.

    11th annual Walk Like MADD event to be held Saturday

    The event, designed to bring attention to the park’s upcoming revitalization, will feature food from Bakersfield restaurants, cocktails, live music, dancing, and various form of entertainment.

    Tickets for the event are $60, which includes a welcome drink, bites, and access to entertainment. Sponsorship opportunities are available for the event and future projects.

    “The Hub envisions a revitalized future for Central Park through experiences to make downtown Bakersfield a better place to live, work, play and invest,” said Jonathan Yates, chairman of the Hub of Bakersfield’s board of directors.
