    Bakersfield police seeks help in identifying suspect in TJ Maxx theft

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in a theft at a Ming Avenue TJ Maxx store.

    According to the police, a man entered the clothing store, located at 3412 Ming Ave., and allegedly cut security tags off several purses before leaving the store with the stolen items on Aug. 22.

    The incident was recorded on the store’s surveillance cameras and the total value of merchandise exceeds $1,000.

    Police described the suspect as a male in his 20s with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and red shoes, and was carrying a scooter.
