BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a woman who was struck by a vehicle while intervening in an altercation in late August.

Officials say Shelli Janae Fuller, 38, of Shafter was struck by a vehicle on Aug. 22 on Olive and Knudsen drives at about 4:41 a.m. She was taken to Kern Medical where she died Sept. 1.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, Fuller was intervening in a fight in the roadway. Multiple subjects were allegedly involved in the altercation.

Doesn’t seem like people in Bakersfield are worth “intervening” for.
