    Coroner ID’s 18-year-old driver who crashed into Buttonwillow home

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — An 18-year-old man died after crashing into a home in Buttonwillow Tuesday, according to CHP.

    The 18-year-old was later identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office as Tristin Jordan Latam, of Tupman.

    The crash happened just after 12:30 p.m. Latam was driving west on Station Road when he made an unsafe turning movement, prompting the car to overturn and crash into a home.

    Latam was pronounced dead at the scene.

    No residents were harmed during the crash.

    CHP said alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision.
