    17th Annual Peace Rally set for Saturday

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The 17th Annual Peace Rally is set for Saturday at Southside SDA Church.

    The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., at the church located at 1330 3rd Street.

    Wesley Davis, Founder of the Wendale Davis Foundation, joined 17 News at Noon with more information on the event.

    Junior League of Bakersfield host ‘Oktoberfest: Brews for Books’ Oct. 5

    Davis said more than 300 families are expected to attend the rally promoting peace.
