One man dead after single-vehicle crash on Hwy 58 in Mojave

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 31-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 58 in Mojave early Thursday morning.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol Mojave Area were dispatched to westbound Highway 58 near Mill Street in the Mojave area around 4:50 a.m. Thursday for a crash.

The investigation showed the man was driving a Toyota Tacoma westbound and for an unknown reason the Tacoma overturned.

Officials say impairment is not suspected as a contributing factor.

The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the decedent at a later time.
