    Aircraft makes emergency landing at Meadows Field Airport: KCFD

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A plane with an unconscious pilot and a partially broken landing gear had to make an emergency landing in Bakersfield on Friday.

    The Kern County Fire Department responded to Meadows Field Airport at about 1:30 p.m., for reports of an aircraft with two people on board that had a partially broken landing gear.

    The pilot was unconscious and the co-pilot safely landed the plane around 1:40 p.m., according the KCFD. The Kern County Fire Department Medic Squad is on scene and assessing the situation.

    According to Flightradar24.com , the Beech C90B King Air was headed from Henderson, Nevada to Monterey, California before the flight diverted to Meadows Field Airport in Bakersfield.
