BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Monday saw another day of well above normal temperatures with more record high maximum and minimums set.

Climatological averages for high temperatures across the San Joaquin Valley are in the lower 80s this time of the year.

Upper heights will gradually lower through the week as an upper trough over the northeast Pacific approaches the coast.

Slight cooling will occur each day but high temperatures will remain well above average for this time of the year. More significant cooling will occur this weekend as the trough moves inland.
