    $10K reward offered for information in 2013 homicide

    BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern Secret Witness Program has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and filing of a complaint against the suspect involved in a 2013 homicide.

    In a Facebook post , the Kern Secret Witness Program said Erika Padron Lango was reported missing by her husband on Oct. 10, 2013. Lango’s body was found on Dec. 3, 2013, in the Friant-Kern Canal near Delano.

    Lango’s death was ruled as a homicide, according to officials.

    On the evening that Lango’s husband, Julio Lango, reported her missing he said they were in a verbal argument and she left home in an unknown direction.

    Erika did not go home the next day. Julio reported Erika had never “done such a thing.”

    Officials say Erika made a phone call to a relative at about 10:30 p.m. the night she went missing and said she was at home and would call the following day.

    I just know her husband has some thing to do with this. I I really hope someone comes forward, someone has to know something
