1 juvenile dead after shooting in Lamont: KCSO

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting on Gregory Avenue in Lamont Thursday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to the 8800 block of Gregory Avenue for reports of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. They located a male juvenile dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives responded and the shooting is under investigation.
