Party in the Park to showcase downtown eateries and free family fun activities Thursday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Downtown Business Association is set to host Party in the Park at Central Park at Mill Creek on Thursday.

The free, all-ages party will feature several food vendors and other downtown Bakersfield businesses like craft and clothing stores, street performers, live music and a dedicated kids area full of activities.

Soliy Baltazar, owner of Plants for Your Solie, and Cristian Canalez, owner of Revel Juices, joined 17 News at Noon to discuss the events the party has in-store.

Look for the Revel Juices booth at the event where Canalez will be making fresh pressed juices.

Baltazar will also be selling indoor plants on Thursday and learn how you can take better care of your plants and how to choose the best plant for your lifestyle.
